The Youth Sports Trust and Intelligent Health are actively encouraging schools to work alongside parents to get children moving. Children and young people up to the age of 18 years old are being encouraged to ‘sit less move more’; YST and Intelligent Health suggest children and young people need to be physically active for a least 60 minutes every day. We have introduced the term 'sit less move more' to the children and we are hoping that through support from all the teaching staff this will have a positive effect. All the children and their families are aware of 'sit less move more'.

Throughout school we are encouraging the children to get up and move by incorporating activity breaks within lessons. Have a look for yourselves at some of the great dances they've been doing!    Visit www.gonoodle.com
